This image is a Montage of 11 years of Saturn superposed by photographer Samoan Peach/SEN.

Taken from the image information from NASA’S Android app. This was too interesting to keep to myself!

Being that I was married to a rocket scientist for 15 years, space and astronomy will always be ingrained in my system.
On Saturn, the Rings tell you the season. on earth, today marks a solstice, the time when the earth’s spin axis tilted directly towards the sun.
On Earth’s Northern Hemisphere, today is the summer solstice, the day maximum daylight. Since Saturn’s grand rings orbit along planet’s equator, these rings dear most prominent from the direction of the Sun.

Conversely, when Saturn then access points to the side, an equinox occurs and the edge – on rings are hard to see.
