In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Twinkle.”
In December of 2012 there was a day I had to go to Brooklyn, New York. On the way home I made a wrong turn and found myself on a street where almost every house was decked to the nines with Christmas lights. I made another turn and there were more lights, then another turn – even more. Block after block of Christmas lights galore. It was a complete spectacular! I had stumbled upon the Dyker Lights, a holiday extravaganza in the Dyker Heights section of Brooklyn. I was extatic to have my camera with me and I took tons of photos!
I didn’t load them all immediately into my computer. I put several on facebook and the rest remained on the memory card. That is, they remained on the memory card until my dog, still a puppy, chewed it…
