Well, if there’s a part 1 then naturally there must be a part 2 🙂 Part 2 is all about plant life. Living, dying, and dead…there is beauty in all stages of a plants life and when shown in black and white I believe the circle of life comes through in a way that color sometimes misses. With color your eye, I believe, is first and foremost drawn in by the color of the plant. But when the image is in monochrome your eye is drawn to the details such as shadows, textures and shapes.

Maybe our village should be the Sundowner Capital of the Western Cape. Virtually every night a feast for the eye. First image facing South-West (20-30 degrees angle with sun and camera in 45 degrees angle with clouds for catching optimal details) and the second picture facing North.
