Here is an extraordinary composite photograph of the earth from Peter Wagner Photography.
It is hard to believe that all the knowledge we possess as people, the scientific breakthroughs, milestones and heroes and heroins all lived here…and still do!!

In Wiley’s Wisdom he has his dog pictured with a concept that means a lot to him “simplicity”. What means a lot to you? Do you have a favorite pet you want to photograph in a new and inventive way that shows your personal style and your love of your pet?

Wiley's Wisdom

I find joy in odd things. Among the oddities that entice my innermost insights are simple complexities. Contradictions that meet the eye but test the mind.

Less is more, for example. Less can’t literally be more, and yet is in so many cases. Or, as one of my most favorite artists Leonardo Da Vinci said “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”

So I shall take a canvas from Da Vinci and keep this short and sweet (like me). Lately, I have found joy in accepting several blogging awards from some of my friends in the blogosphere I have come to respect. This utmost honor might seem small to some, but not to me.

My sincerest of gratitude to:

Acceptance of each of these awards involves its own set of rules, which I have outlined below.

Sun Salutations-Mediterranean Shore on a Wintry Day

A couple of days ago the sun was shining brilliantly as it does very often here in the winter months in Israel.  Despite low temperatures, the Mediterranean sun is always a joy.  A bad storm was predicted and expected to last for most of the week, so I decided to take advantage of the weather and went down to the shore to walk and do some yoga.  It was glorious, until the storm clouds began to roll in.

Although there was a brisk wind in my face on the way back making the…

My Poetic Path

“Life is a mystery to be lived, not a problem to be solved.”

Zen saying

I love this quote!

So true, how our perceptions of each day and every experience can make all the difference.

Speaking of mysteries, is there anything more amazing than the wonder of the first flowersof spring?

I’m a big tulip fan! I love to see the “new arrivals” each spring.

For now, here’s one from the photo file. 🙂

Happy Weekend!

PS: I am testing the waters with a new blog idea (yes, just what I need, another blog) 😉 this would be a weekly prompt blog.
